Welcome!I’m the guy who writes the world of Skyburn.For those who enjoy a concise autobiography, I will describe everything you need to know about me in one sentence.I’m just weird enough to be interesting and not weird enough to get arrested when in public… usually.More about me below, for you stalker types who prefer paragraphs and personal stuff.I have been many things: a boy, a man, a fighter, a lover, a father, a business owner, a success, but more often a failure.My honorifics, titles, and the many not-so-nice things I have been called may change, but one thing I have always been, and always hope to be, is a storyteller.I have spent thousands of hours absorbing stories, from the non-fiction of our world to the fictional worlds created by other storytellers. Through them, I have lived in countless places, walked in countless shoes, across ages long past and far into the future. I have experienced victories, tragedies, discoveries, and losses that were never truly mine — yet somehow were.Stories let us live more than one life. I think that’s why I never stopped reading them… and eventually started writing them.When I’m not writing or reading, I enjoy spending time with my girls — my three beautiful daughters and my ever-so-patient, beautiful wife-to-be.We also have two giant fur babies, Floyd and Enzo (Great Danes). I shovel so much dog shit that it has become my most practiced hobby.We also have a morbidly obese pearl-white cat named Kiwi — aka the magnificent, majestic, regal, all-knowing highness of everything that is and shall ever be.She occasionally graces me with her presence, but usually only when her food bowl is empty.I am Her Excellency’s most humble servant.Lastly, I am always looking for new content to consume, so if you have any GOOD recommendations, find me on social media and leave me a suggestion.Thank you.Written from my DataPAD at Uldi’s Pub.
